I had lived with, quite severe, Eczema throughout my childhood and while I managed to rid myself of this condition in my twenties, the stress and pressures of everyday life brought the Eczema back during my thirties. I needed something more than just repeat prescriptions of daily steroid creams while juggling both work and personal life. Visiting a nutritional therapist myself helped me to understand the role my diet played in my skin health.
Becoming a mum and seeing my own daughter with similar Eczema flare ups to when I was a child drove me to further research and seek alternative methods of supporting eczema prone skin and understanding the details and root cause of why these flare ups were occurring. I turned to nutrition again, and in particular, gut health when supporting my daughters skin.
This interest in nutrition and health led me to studying Naturopathic Nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine where I truly discovered the body's amazing healing abilities and how nutrition plays such an important and vital role in the healing process.
As a Nutritional Therapist and a Mum, I am passionate about educating and empowering individuals to make informed choices about their health and lifestyle for themselves and their families.
